Snow Blowers vs Snow Throwers
When it comes to clearing snow from your property, there are two main types of machines to choose from: the snow thrower and the snow blower. Both have their pros and cons, so how do you decide which is the right machine for you?
Snow Throwers
Snow throwers are typically smaller and lighter than snow blowers, making them easy to maneuver and store. They’re also typically less expensive.
Snow throwers work by using a spinning auger to lift the snow and fling it out of the chute. When it flings, it basically just goes further away from where the snow thrower is. This is often just straight forward another 10-15 feet. Great for smaller areas, not as much for big areas.
