It was expensive. But worth it to bring the results here.

Here is what I look for in a battery powered mower:

1. Metal Deck 2. Good battery system 3. Brushless motor 4. Serious power 5. Self-propelled function

#1: Milwaukee's M18 Electric Mower

Not only was this one the most powerful, but the smoothest ride and sleekest design. But it is pricey.

#2: Ryobi 40V HP Electric Mower

While this one has a plastic deck, it is much less expensive and has a massive battery kit you can use for a ton of tools

#3: Toro 60V Recycler Mower

This one is a really clean cut but has some weird quirks to it. Overall it is a great choice but I expected more from Toro.

#4: Makita 36V LXT Electric Mower

This one has a metal deck, provides a decent cut, and has a really cool dashboard that makes it easy to use.

#5: Dewalt 20V Max 21.5 inch mower

This is a really sturdy mower from Dewalt but they don't have a huge lawn tool battery lineup...yet
